lapislantern I heard the song icarus at a dance production once and it always stuck in my mind... until I heard Jason Webley again on nightvale years later. Now he's my favourite artist and here we are. So glad those experiences aligned for me to come to love this music. There aren't words for how much these songs mean to me Favorite track: Music That Puts Everything Together.

Ian Stewart After hearing Jason Webley on Welcome to Night Vale and having him recommended by Eliza Rickman, I bought most of the archive. This album is the one that speaks to me the most, with Icarus being my favourite song of the collection, and quickly becoming one of my favourite songs. Favorite track: Icarus.

Nineveh With a desperate longing to find and capture every grain of sweetness in hurt and despair Webley manages to turn even the darkest of moments into something beautiful. If there has ever been such a thing as a true master of oxymorons he sure earns the title. Favorite track: Music That Puts Everything Together.

This one is still my favorite.
It was recorded while I was nursing a broken heart in an old waterfront island hotel which I believe was haunted - so it is full of yearning, the motion of water, and ghosts. This was also the first record I made after my trips to Russia and I think you can hear reflections of the music I was encountering in those travels. It features a bunch of my best songs including 'Icarus', 'Map' and 'With'.
